Delightful ancient stone farmhouse in Tuscany with swimming pool comprising 3 charming restored apartments affording wonderful and extensive views over the Chiana Valley. The farmhouse is situated on a hill, in a short distance from the renowned town of Cortona whose origins date back to the Etruscan period. All of the 3 apartments are nicely furnished in the local Tuscany rustic style.
Distances: the centre of Cortona with all kinds of shops 1 km, Lake Trasimeno with equipped beaches approx. 10 km, Arezzo with a charming antique market about 30 km, Perugia 50 km, Siena approx. 55 km. A secondary road passes near the farmhouse.
At guests' disposal: fenced and terraced garden equipped with garden furniture, bowling-green, barbecue, shared, above-ground swimming-pool (7,5 x 4,5 m - open from 01/05 to 30/09) and TV in each apartment. Shared laundry with washing-machine and iron. Parking in the property. Horse-back riding facilities close to the house. Pets are allowed. By renting the 3 apartments together it is possible to obtain an independent villa with private swimming-pool sleeping 10-13 people.
Extra services: baby cot available by paying an extra charge of € 42,- / per week to be paid on the spot.

Had a perfect stay here. Apartment was larger than expected. All very neat and clean - no complaints. View was amazing. There are plenty of hammocks and seats to lounge around in and the pool is great for hot days. Cortona is beautiful. There's a dirt track that can be followed to the centre of town and was only 10-15 minute up hill walk. Don't rely on taxi's to get around, especially late at night. We were lucky a kind person who lives near the train station gave us a lift home one night. If you've got a car or can work out how to catch buses Cortona is a great location to base yourself so you can do day trip to Sienna or Florence or even out to Pisa. But if not there is plenty to see and do around Cortona. A cooking class, free events at the Teatro, plenty of shops and restaurants. Or just soak up the atmosphere. The people in the area are also very lovely

Great location, cute little apartment, just right for two.
View was stunning, on a clear day, the sunset is beautiful.
Owners were welcoming and friendly (especially the dog!).
Really enjoyable stay.

This is a lovely property. Our family had a wonderful time - lunches on the terrace and the kids played for hours on the garden. It's about 200m uphill to the town - dodging the traffic can be achieved if you go through the olive field behind the house and then take one of the small streets to the town wall.

We loved Cocciaio and Cortona. A beautiful property. You can walk to town (uphill). Beautiful overlook of Tuscany from the villa. Wonderful location for touring Tuscany.
Hope to return someday.
