Le Pietre

Impressive former fortress dating back to the 11th century which has been restored preserving its original architectural features and materials (like the terracotta-tiled ceiling) and it ancient charm. This property is situated north of Arezzo (8 km away) in quiet location, on a 42-hectare estate producing wine and olive oil. The villa provides a large pool and a lawn (partially shaded) furnished with a nice gazebo, tables and chairs. The interiors are charming, furnished in a rustic style with some antiques. The housekeepers live in an private apartment set on the back of the house.
The access to the property is via an unpaved road but well-maintained road of approx. 750 m.
Distances: nice Tuscan restaurant 500 m away (special rates for the guests staying at Le Pietre), food shop and bar 3 km away, Arezzo 8 km, the lovely town of Cortona 40 km away, Lake Trasimeno 76 km away, Florence 85 km, Siena and Perugia approx. 100 km, San Gimignano 121 km, away, the charming town of Lucca 163 km, Pisa 183 km, Rome 236.
At guests’ disposal: large partially shaded lawn, swimming-pool (8 x 16 m - depth from 1,3 to 3 m – open from 01/05 to 30/09), open-air shower (cold water), large gazebo, barbecue, 3 bikes, table tennis. The villa provides air-conditioning in the bedrooms on the second floor and hairdryers in all of the bathrooms.

Extra services included in the rental price: 3 hours maid service on Mondays and Thursdays (time to be decided).
Extra services to be paid on the spot: Baby bed upon request (free of charge). Maid service available by arrangement (€ 12,- / per hour to be paid locally).
