Description
Villa Maria is a holiday house rental located at just 1,5 km from the beach on the Island of Corfu.
This villa is set on two floors not internally linked, which offer an elegantly furnished and carefully finished environment to guarantee guests practicality and tranquility. The house can accommodate up to 15 guests thanks to its 6 large bedrooms and single beds and sofa beds positioned in different areas of the house.
Outside the villa offers its guests a private swimming pool. This is the perfect place to spend pleasant moments with your family and friends.
The position of Villa Maria allows you to easily reach the nearby village of Sidari (where you will find all kinds of shops and many services) as well as all the wonderful beaches and exclusive locations of Corfu Island.

Overall we had a good time. It's well located: very close to Sidari beach (about 25 minutes walk or 2 minutes by car), supermarket and many restaurants. Also, the host was very responsive and the check-in process was smooth. Finally, the house is quite spacious and we could fit in comfortably.
However, we encountered a few issues during our stay. First of all, the water (on all sinks) smells and tastes like pure iron. Which is definitely not very good on the skin and hair - it also smells pretty bad.
The house had quite a lot of dust lying around and it was infested with mosquitoes - probably due to a swimming pool on the other side of the property being completely dirty (the water was very green and full of stuff inside).
The toilets were not very clean (mainly the shower areas).
Lastly, the host didn't leave any of the basic things in the house. There was a washing-up liquid for the dishes, but no sponge. No salt, oil, pepper, sugar, or anything like that.
The Wi-Fi worked quite poorly and the 5g connection on the island is also quite bad (I'd take this into consideration when picking a place to stay).
Also, we were asked to give a 300€ deposit in cash (which wasn't previously communicated). In the end, we got our money back without a problem, but still, it would have been nice to get a heads-up.
All in all, it was a great experience.

Great villa with private pool. Maria was so accommodating and super helpful. There was around 13 of us who stayed here and we all loved it. The location is great too. Around a 30min walk to town with all the bars and restaurants. The beach is very close too, around a 15min walk. Maria also provided us with a local taxi service so we were able to get into town in the evening easily. Overall I would recommend. Thank you.

Very nice villa, the pool is very well kept and the garden is beautiful. The location is good, quiet place and close to the beach and restaurants. Maria is a great host and was extremely responsive and responded to all our enquiries immediately.

Wonderful solution for group of friends, each room has its own bathroom, with mini fridge and air conditioning. Beautiful pool and garden. Excellent assistance and communication with IA owner of the Villa! In the annex the kitchen area is poorly maintained.
