Villa Portole Due

prachtige grote verblijfsruimte. De villa staat wel bovenop de berg, zodat je altijd naar beneden moet (10km) voor boodschappen ed. Doordat het weer tegen viel verbleven we meer in het huis. Dit was door de kleine ramen wel donker, en het meubilair nodigt niet uit tot relaxed lang zitten. Desondanks is het huis voorzien van alles, en heb je met goed weer een heerlijke grote tuin met zwembad.

We hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad! Het huis is prachtig, enorm schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Daarnaast zijn Giada en Jacopo ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij. Zij hebben ons verblijf echt naar een hoger niveau getild! We voelden ons ontzettend thuis. Hopelijk tot volgend jaar!

Wir hatten eine tollen Aufenthalt bei Giada. Das Haus ist sehr schön und sauber. Das Grundstück um das Haus herum ist sehr groß und tiptop gepflegt. Giada hat uns mit einem selbstgebackenen Kuchen begrüßt. Bei Giada kann man leckeres Essen kostengünstig bestellen, was wir sehr gerne in Anspruch genommen haben.

Wir waren für 4 Tage als Familie in diesem Tollen Haus, es liegt super ruhig mit einer grandiosen Aussicht, einem Pool und kleinem Spielplatz für Kinder, beides ist abgesperrt und für die alleinige Nutzung. Hervorzuheben ist, dass das Haus sehr gut eingerichtet und ausgestattet ist, Vor allem aber: es war alles sehr sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Vermieter Vor Ort waren sehr nett und bei Fragen immer sofort verfügbar. Zum Empfang haben wir sogar einen selbstgemachten Kuchen erhalten. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Just superb. House is beautiful and hidden away in the mountains with a great totally private pool above the house which gets the last of the evening sun. The hosts are outstanding I could never thank them enough. They gave us a lift when there were no taxis available, and they cooked outstanding food. They provide a small menu and you can order food every lunch and dinner - it’s great value as well as delicious! House is lovely and warm too with heating if needed.

If I had to give any suggestion it would be to arrange WiFi by the pool, but honestly it was good to get out of the habit of phones and 4g just about reaches there anyway.

Could not recommend more - you must stay - and I definitely plan to return next time I need to get away from it all ????

This property is amazing and we spent an entire week there celebrating our anniversary!! The hosts were truly fantastic and caring people who took very good care of us!!!!!!!!! We would go back there for sure and would recommend you stay here if you are looking for an oasis that is away from the busy city life!! Truly relaxing and wonderful!!! Grazie again to the hosts !!

Lovely villa which has everything you need. Very quiet location. Be aware the pool is up a lot of steps so not suitable for all. But once you are up there it’s fantastic. Owner and her grand daughter very kind and helpful.

Amazing property and location.This property is fantastic, in a stunning lication. The hosts are extremely friendly and deluvers us fresh produce and a home made cake! The pool is in a fenced area which is great if you have younger children. The views are stunning and I only wish we could have stayed longer....

Wat een fantastisch verblijf bij deze accomodatie. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen met huisgemaakte taart en koekjes, koude drankjes in de koelkast. Het huis was uitermate schoon en comfortable. Genoten van de verse groenten uit de tuin (heerlijke courgette en komkommer) en iedere dag van het spectaculaire uitzicht, een absolute aanrader.

One of the nicest properties we’ve stayed in, with wonderful views; very welcoming and helpful owners, but not intrusive. Loved staying here! Overall excellent; kept in very good condition, and beautifully maintained grounds and pool, cleaned every day; plenty of chairs/loungers & umbrellas, all in great condition. Being on the hillside the air is clear and the view spectacular. No need for books, just take in the view! Plenty of interest in Cortona, with shops, cafes and restaurants. Love Bar Caffe Signorelli to sit and watch the world go by. Please visit artisan woodworker Giancarlo Rossi in Via Guelfa; he’s keeping craftsmanship alive in our modern world.

I would surely recommend Portole Due. The owners were more than kind and helpful. Really people who have understood the meaning of hospitality more than 100%. The house was extremely clean and things like plates, cutlery, glasses, towels etc. was amply available. It is very nice house with a beautiful view (with Lake Trasimeno in the distance). Due Portole is quite high in the mountains, so on colder days it can be a bit cooler, but the house can be heated well.
The swimming pool is awesome and everything you can think of is there.
We had a wonderfull time in Due Portole !!

We just loved this place, especially the pool area. The hostesses were really sweet and easygoing. They offered homemade wine and cake, and also fresh eggs. The house is situated in the mountains and it was often a couple of degrees colder than in the closest village Cortona. The view was spectacular! If you want a private place near the nature this is perfect. You can make daytrips to citys like Siena and Montepulciano. Our strong recommendations!

This property is excellent. It is situated with outstanding views of the valley towards Lago Trasimeno. The location is very peaceful with little passing traffic. The property and swimming pool is totally private. The building is very new and is very well equipped. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Air conditioning is included in all rooms which is a bonus. The grounds and swimming pool are immaculately maintained. All outside equipment is of a high quality.
The owners, who live in Portole, were friendly, helpful and could be easily contacted if needed. They also provided us with some delicious fresh produce from their garden and hens. The home made pastries were fantastic.
We spent a lovely two weeks at the property and would not hesitate to return.

Perfect accomomdation for a family. Secure and safe for litle ones. Peaceful, quiet but yet close enough to good restuarants and main infrastructure for trips to bigger cities.

A beautiful and safe garden with a very nice pool and lovely things to play with for our 2 year old son.
The house has everything that you need. Even the kitchen enough pans, plates and knifes etcetera to make your meals just how you like it. The house is clean and the people are lovely!

Alloggio e piscina molto curati, vista meravigliosa, la casa dista 10 minuti da Cortona. Consiglio, vista l'altezza, di munirsi di una felpa, la sera le temperature si abbassano. Nel complesso esperienza piacevole la consiglio.

Graziosa proprietà sita in una frazione sui rilievi di Cortona, a una decina di km dal borgo. Ampia abitabilità per 4 persone. Casa climatizzata. Piccolo giardino fronte casa, oltre ad un'area attrezzata e riservata con piscina, lettini, tavoli, gazebo - oltre a giochi per bambini - sita al di sopra del livello di casa e giardino (e raggiungibile tramite apposita scala in pietra).
Ideale per coppie e piccole famiglie.

Om te beginnen wat een fantastisch uitzicht heb je hier! Alles is goed onderhouden en super schoon.. vriendelijke eigenaars die ons nog kwamen verrassen met eitje, wijn en verse tomaten. Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad.
Zwembad was helaas te koud.

Villa molto bella, curata e pulita! I proprietari davvero gentili, all’arrivo di hanno fatto trovare coca e birra in frigo e una crostata con dei pasticcini fatti da loro e a disposizione un nuovo dispenser di gel disinfettante sia in casa che in piscina!
La casa gode di un’ottima vista ed il giardino e la zona piscina sono perfettamente curati e puliti ed inoltre offrono una tranquillità e una privacy impagabili! Inoltre i due gazebo, sia davanti a casa che nella zona piscina, permettono di poter mangiare comodamente fuori casa se si vuole grigliare o di fare dei picnic coi bambini direttamente in piscina.

Location splendida: l'interno della villa e in particolare gli esterni sono curati nei minimi dettagli. Il panorama è bellissimo e godibile da diversi scorci, in particolare dalla piscina che domina la valle sottostante. La villa è attrezzata per un soggiorno il più confortevole possibile. La gentilezza della proprietà (che regala i prodotti freschi locali) completa il quadro. Se l'obiettivo è stare immersi nella natura e godersi la massima tranquillità è il posto giusto. Il centro abitato più vicino (Cortona) è a circa 15 minuti di auto.

Ottima accoglienza, vista splendida luogo riservato in mezzo alla natura. Una vacanza in famiglia in un posto magnifico a pochi chilometri dalle meraviglie toscane e umbre.

Wer die absolute Ruhe sucht ist hier bestens aufgehoben.
Das Haus mit großem Grundstück und Pool (vermutlich einer der höchst gelegenen in der Toskana) sind sehr schön angelegt. Es entspricht alles dem, was auf den Bildern zu sehen ist. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und liebvoll eingerichtet. Es hat alles funktioniert wie es soll. Vom Haus geht man ein paar Treppenstufen zum Pool hoch. Da es in der Umgebung nur den Lago Trasimeno gibt, ist der Pool gerade in heißen Tagen eine willkommene Abkühlung. Es gab reichlich Liegen, Sitzecken und Sonnenschirme. Das Auto konnte war unter einem Carport gut vor der Sonne geschützt. Wir haben mit 2 EW und 2 Kindern da Urlaub gemacht. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hat uns mit kleinen Überraschungen empfangen und war auch jederzeit erreichbar.

Portole selbst ist sehr übersichtlich. Es gab ein Restaurant und einen kleinen Einkaufsmarkt. Das Restaurant ist ca. 500 Meter entfernt. Von Cortona aus führt eine gut ausgebaute Strasse am Berg nach oben. Der Ausblick ist super.
Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub dort und haben mit dem Auto die Gegend erkundet. Monte Pulciano und Perugia sind in 45 Minuten erreichbar. Cortona in 10 bis 15 Minuten.

Ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit sehr freundlichen und liebenswürdigen Vermietern, die nur einige Meter entfernt wohnen und sich sehr gut um ihre Gäste kümmern. Das Haus und auch die Anlage waren sehr gepflegt und sehr sauber. Alles was man braucht, war reichhaltig vorhanden, Handtücher, Waschmittel und alles was man sonst nicht mitschleppen und auch nicht gleich einkaufen will.

The house is clean and well kept and all the amenities are available. the owner and her daughter are very kind. The view from the house is magnificent. And it is close by the beautiful town of Cortona.

This was the most fantastic villa that we have ever visited. It was spotless 5 star accommodation with stunning views and our hosts were extremely welcoming even supplying us with homemade cakes, fresh eggs from there own chickens and cold beers in the fridge. Highly recommend this villa.

Vi havde en fantastisk ferie, huset lever helt op til billederne, værts familien kom med æg og tomater og rødvin de var rigtig søde. Vi ankom meget sent men blev taget godt imod alligevel. Poolen er pæn ren og bliver passet godt. Alt i alt et sted vi vil anbefale

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus, alles picobello sauber, Küche voll ausgestattet, viele Verstaumöglichkeiten in den Schlafzimmern.
Sehr schöne Aussicht auf den See und die umliegende Gegend.
Auch und vor allem vom oberhalb liegenden Pool aus.
Leider war dieser etwas kalt, da die Temperatur abends doch abkühlte und damit auch das Wasser.
Wenn man den Pool bei Nacht abdecken könnte, wäre es besser.
Schön war auch, dass unten am Haus dieselbe Anzahl Liegen vorhanden waren als am Pool, so dass man auch dort relaxen und sich den Aufstieg sparen konnte ;-)

Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und brachten uns eigene, sehr leckere Tomaten, Eier und 2 Flaschen Rotwein vorbei.
Auch bei Problemen, z.B. als der Geschirrspüler defekt war, wurde am gleichen Tag Abhilfe geschaffen
Handtücher und sogar Geschirrtücher waren reichlich vorhanden und der wöchentliche Wäschewechsel verlief reibungslos

We stayed here for a week in August. If you are looking for peace and quiet and fantastic views this is the place for you. The villa is well equipped and comfortable, it has everything you would require. The housekeeper was lovely and lived across the road and brought us lovely eggs and tomatoes from her garden as well as a set-up of a beer and bottle of wine waiting in the fridge on arrival. The villa is in the hills just outside Cortona which is a beautiful walled town, great for lunch or dinner and only a 10 minute drive away. There is a Co-op supermarket 5 minutes outside of Cortona. The pool and garden are absolutely lovely and the views were even better from up in the garden. Would thoroughly recommend staying here.

A lovely house, beautifully kept by our host Rosanna, with good facilities and a great view down to Lake Trasimeno. We will be coming back !

Das Haus ist perfekt für eine kleine Familie mit 2 Kindern. Die Kinder konnten in aller Sicherheit spielen und alle zusammen haben wir das Schwimmbad sehr genossen und schönen Spaziergänge unternommen. Der Trasimeno -See ist nah genug um Ausflüge dorthin zu machen. Wassersport wird angeboten. Alles war sehr schön!
