This house is beautiful; comfortably and attractively furnished. It has a lovely pool and beautiful extensive countryside views, wonderful sunsets whilst we stayed, and very quiet.

Ich habe zusammen mit 3 guten freunden eine Woche dort verbracht. Es war wirklich wunderschön und die Kommunikation mit Mauro lief dank gebrochenem Italienischen und verschiedenen Übersetzern auch gut ab. Das haus befindet sich inzwischen wunderschönen Bergen perfekt um abzuschalten. Generell würde ich für die anreisen zum haus ein SUV oder gut gefedertes und hochgelegtes Auto empfehlen. (Mit Audi Q7 keinerlei Probleme)

This is a lovely villa in a very beautiful and private setting. The house and location are exactly like the photos. The hosts were friendly and came twice to clean the pool during our visit. The only thing I’d mention is you should come prepared with bug spray as the mosquitoes were quite intense! Otherwise a perfect holiday. Thank you!

Wonderful property in an idyllic location. Fantastic views from every angle. Relaxing pool, perfect for a family of 4. Great towns and restaurants within 15min drive max. House is clean and nicely appointed. Feels very comfortable and cosy. Mauro is super responsive. Highly recommended.

It simply has to be the most wonderful place on Earth. Beautifully and charmingly executed, super well maintained and very clean house. We will miss the smell of rosemary by the pool, the relaxed atmosphere and the many fantastic small towns and restaurants nearby. I would recommend everyone to stay at Posarelli Villas.

everything we expected, perfect private paradise

This place is great and super charming. We were greeted by Mauro and shown around the property when we arrived. True to the listing and the views of the countryside are incredible at sunset. The road is a bumpy, unpaved road but nothing a standard rental car can't handle. Just be wary as google maps may attempt to send you on hiking trails so be sure to follow the hosts directions rather than the gps when you get close. But really nice, authentic stay in Tuscany. Be aware that there is a 150 euro cash security deposit upon arrival (as mentioned in the listing - you will be charged for heat etc. upon checkout). Also a note that there is shampoo etc there, but its in the cabinet on the stairs! We were there off season for the pool but we would definitely come back and stay there during the warmer months for a that!

We had a magical time, surrounded by beauty. The views are spectacular, the villa is simply stunning. We’d go back in heartbeat!

Tolles, ursprüngliches Haus mitten in extremer schöner, ruhiger Umgebung. Gut ausgestattet, super sauber und toller Pool. Die Lage mitten in der Toskana war perfekt, um von dort aus Ausflüge in andere Städte zu unternehmen. Wir können das Haus weiterempfehlen.

Great place to stay with a stunning view, pool and outdoor dining area. The gardens are bursting with rosemary and flowers. In the morning the local house martins swoop down and collect bugs from the surface of the pool, it’s quite a spectacle. Great to have multiple bathrooms, comfy beds and a usable kitchen space. Only concern about the villa was there wasn’t a few of the basic kitchen things such as washing up liquid or cooking oil. There is also no air conditioning, but that was okay as all of the windows have mosquito nets over them so we could have them open in the night. Unfortunately, I’m not sure they were 100% mozzie proof so some of us still got a little bitten. The host Mauro and Paula were generally very friendly and came to water the plants on a couple of mornings as it was particularly hot. The only other things to note was additional costs required for utilities.

We had a very relaxing stay at this AirBnb and Mauro, the owner of this place even helped us make some amazing pizza in the pizza oven. ????

This villa is a slice of paradise. The setting is the most picturesque Tuscan scene, complete with golden rolling hills and cypress trees in the distance. It became our home base to explore towns like Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino, and San Quirco d'Orcia. We always made time for a daily swim, of course. I can't say enough about how perfect and tranquil this villa is. Like other guests have mentioned, the last mile is unpaved through an olive grove and along fields. Renting a small SUV helped and we used Apple Maps instead of Google Maps to direct us. When you pass Pieve di Santo Stefano, keep to the road on the road to go straight past it. Google maps will try to direct you to turn in and drive down a walking path. Only confusing once and then it's very simple!

Po deseti letech jsme v tomto domě strávili krásný týden. Dům a výhled jsou jedinečné. Paula a Mauro jsou velmi příjemní hostitelé.

Wir waren mehr als begeistert von unserem Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Haus! Es sah noch schöner aus als auf den Fotos. Wir haben uns auf Anhieb wohl gefühlt und waren insbesondere von der Sauberkeit und der Ausstattung der Küche begeistert. Der Pool sollte eigentlich erst ab Juni geöffnet werden aber freundlicherweise wurde dieser uns schon im Mai geöffnet. Die Unterkunft befindet sich mitten im Herzen der Toskana und ist privat gelegen. Genau das, was wir haben wollten. Mauro war sehr nett und hat ab und zu den Pool sauber gemacht. Wir können jedem dieses air bnb empfehlen! Noch nie zuvor haben wir eine so tolle Unterkunft gehabt!

Bij aankomst stond Mauro ons op te wachten. Hij heeft ons begeleid naar het huis. Erg vriendelijk en duidelijk heeft Mauro ons alles uitgelegd. Het is zeer rustig en midden in de natuur waar we veel herten en fazanten hebben mogen spotten. Erg fijne plek als je van natuur en rust houd. De weg ernaar toe is een uitdaging.. Een SUV is nodig! We zouden zeker weer terug gaan.

Ho soggiornato con un gruppo di amici a ridosso del capodanno, che dire, la casa è stupenda, immersa nelle colline toscane circondata da pace e silenzio. Abbiamo trovato bene la casa, nonostante nelle recensioni ci fossero opinioni contrastanti, noi abbiamo utilizzato le coordinate forniteci sul voucher di prenotazione ed abbiamo trovato facilmente la casa percorrendo poco più di 5 minuti sulla strada sterrata che non è così brutta come può sembrare da altre recensioni. L’alloggio in sé e per se è perfetto, spazioso per 5 adulti, pulito, fornito di tutto e di più, difficile se non impossibile trovare un difetto a questa struttura. L’host Mauro è davvero una persona squisita, è stato puntuale, disponibile e davvero gentile.

Beautiful secluded private villa. Fireplace, pool, an outdoor brick oven and grill. An elevated car is recommended and is expected when going to the country side. the owner Mauro was kind and responsive. The villa was well equipped and serene.

The house and pool were great - everything we wanted for a relaxing holiday in Tuscany! It was clean, quiet and very beautiful. The hosts were friendly and came to clean the pool and to take care of the flowers a few times during the stay. I would just like to give a heads up that there are mosquitoes and some other insects around the house and pool - it’s the countryside ???? Also, take the time to look up how to get to the house - the G-oogle instructions will lead you on to a very tricky road, but there is another way which is described in the check in instructions! Beautiful surroundings, great pool, clean house

If you want to stay at an absolutely beautiful isolated villa in the wilds but close enough to a village with a couple of restaurants and a small local shop, then this is the place to stay! However, please note the villa is 2km along a single track unmade road which has pot holes. So please ensure you have a SUV vehicle that has a higher wheel base to avoid damage. We hired a small SUV that tackled the track well. In terms of the villa, the pictures don’t do the villa justice until you get there and see if with your own eyes. It was stunning, the property inside was clean and spacious, ideal for 4 people. The outside of the villa has been maintained to a high standard, clearly Mauro and Paula are proud of their property as it’s beautifully cared for inside and out. You have 360 degrees of garden to enjoy, so depending on whether you enjoy the sun or not you can comfortably sit in the shade or the sun. The pool is a perfect size, very clean and private. Thank you Mauro and Paula.

Mauro ist ein wahnsinnig toller Gastgeber :-) Das Haus liegt in MItten schönster Natur - der Pool ist toll, aber habt beim ersten Mal unbedingt die Koordinaten am Start. Wir durften unter Mauros Anleitung auch den Pizzaofen nutzen - ein echtes Highlight.

The house was lovely and the views absolutely stunning. The property was well maintained and very clean, and full of rustic Tuscan charm. There are, however, a couple of things to note. To arrive at the house, you have to drive down a bumpy dirt road. I think this should be included in the property description, as it can be a little tricky depending on the kind of car you're driving. Because this property is owned by a company, there's also a lack of that personal experience between guest and host that you typically get with Airbnb. The person who does the check-in, Mauro, was very friendly and explained how everything in the house works. But there were no local recommendations or dining suggestions, that kind of thing. All in all, we had a wonderful time in this beautiful villa. I would certainly recommend it, just keeping in mind the notes I mentioned above.

The owner was very nice as well was the house. We locked ourselves out of the house one evening and he came out to let us in. My only con would be the house was much further away from where we were needing to travel to daily.

Peace and quiet in the Tuscan countryside. 5 stars

Had a mixed experience here. The house itself was beautiful, and had quite a lot of things that were useful and helpful like cushions, firewood, well-stocked kitchen. The surroundings were amazing as well, being situated in the fields of Tuscany. There is little light pollution around the house, so we could enjoy a great stargazing experience at night. Good that there was parking on the premise. However there were minor inconveniences that added up. A number of things were not included, and you have to bring. Shower soap, shampoo, detergent, sponge and dishwashing liquid etc are not provided. They are rather strict with the check-in timing as well, because the host has to personally hand over the keys, so you need to plan your trip around the check-in Location was not easy to access because there are multiple ways there, but only one of the ways was accessible easily/smoothly via car. We tried two other routes, one of them being the route mentioned in the check-in instructions, but that almost damaged our car. However the host was nice enough to respond to our request to come show us the "actual" way to enter the apartment (different from what was written in the check-in instructions). You must bring cash, there are a lot of add-on charges for utilities, heating, firewood, deposit etc, to be paid on-site. The host was a nice person, but is not comfortable with English. The only way to contact the host is through messaging/calling an Italian number or through iMessage, so make sure you have some way to do that. We did not get to use the pool as well, it is only open for a short period each year during summer. Felt like a shame, but nothing we could do about that.

Das Haus und die Umgebung sind1:1 wie auf den Fotos: eine märchenhafte Landschaft, ideal für Ruhesuchende und Naturliebhaber. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und extrem sauber. Mauro war jederzeit hilfsbereit und hat sogar mitgeholfen, ein richtiges Feuer für die Bistecca Fiorentina zu machen. Die Anfahrt ist etwas holprig (nicht geeignet für tief gelegene Autos). Eine kleine Nebensache des Landlebens sind die vielen Insekten - wir konnten nicht draussen essen. Die Gastgeber und das Haus sind jederzeit zu empfehlen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden die Erfahrung wiederholen.

The stay at the location was great. Thé house and location are just like thé pictures. Mauro and his wife we're very kind. They also helped us to start the pizza oven, and Mauro was always available in case of questions. If you are looking for a place in the middle of the nature and like to see the wildlife of Tuscany I can only recommend this house!

This is an absolutely stunning villa in an exceptionally beautiful setting. We originally booked for 1 week and extended our stay twice because it was too difficult to leave. Mauro was a wonderful host! We will definitely return :)

Couldn’t have asked for a better getaway in the Tuscan countryside. The house is truly off the beaten path and gives you an escape from civilization in the middle of Italy!

Beliggenheten var helt nydelig, som å bi ei et vakkert landskapsmaleri. Vi er kjent i området og valgte derfor dette stedet. Fredelig og godt sted for avslapping, turer både til fots og ellers utfarter. Herlig dyreliv, vi opplevde både dådyr, hare og ørn, og hester som kom forbi daglig for trening.
Veien ned til huset var dårlig, den kan helt klart utbedres!

This is the best ever house I've booked in AirBNB. This place is the ideal one for those who want to enjoy several days of isolated life and Tuscany's sunshine! The house has almost everything you need and posseses astounding sunset view and star & galaxy view during the night! The supermarket and restaraunt are also not far away (with minutes of drving to the small towns nearby).

To others the fact that the key holder can't speak English may be an issue, to me it's also interesting to "talk" with him by using Google translation. It was quite fun.

All in all I'd definitely recommend this house to a group of tourists of 4-6 people to tuscany, and I wish I can come back sometime in the future

Villa Catelmuzio is exceptional in every way - a glorious pool, a divine garden with a wonderful array of beautiful flowers, perfectly appointed and equipped property and a view to die for. Watching the sunsets across the valley is lovely. Even hearing the wildlife at night is fun! Thank you for a perfect stay - we will be back - and recommend this place to everyone. A beautiful house and a beautiful site. With a car you can reach most of sentral Toscana within one hour. A place where you really can relax. The house was very clean, well equipped and the service is excellent. Mauro, the host, is cleaning the pool and watering the flowers almost every day. You simply cant miss this!!!!

Wunderschönes Haus, absolute Privatsphäre! Sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Der Pool wird sehr regelmässig gereinigt ohne das man es merkt(morgen sehr früh) Die Übergsbe und Abnahme klappte hervorragend. Der Weg ist mit einem Sportwagen zu meistern ohne jegliches Aufsetzen oder Kratzer. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und gute Restaurants in der Nähe. Auch die Sehenswürdikeiten sind in wenigen Autominuten zu erreichen. Wir würden wiederkommen!

If you are searching for peace and privacy, this is the place to be. The house is located on a small hill in a beautiful landscape with no houses nearby. The location is more beautiful than the pictures show you. The pool is perfect, the house is very well equipped and nicely decorated. We had a perfect vacation!

Castelmuzio is a lovely little property lost in beautiful rolling Tuscan countryside about 3 kilometres outside the village of Castelmuzio. Be warned however that access is via an unmade dirt track, the last 2 km of which are steep & heavily rutted, for peace of mind a 4x4 is highly recommended. A converted barn finished to a very high standard in 2009 by the owners who are extremely friendly & helpful, the property makes an ideal base for a couple or small family wishing to visit Arezzo, Lucignano, Montepulciano, Pienza, Siena etc.

This property and location is beautiful. The property was very clean and well looked after. The pictures on the website do not do it any justis. The area was quiet and if you want total relaxation then this is the place. We used to sit on an evening watching the sun going down and the wild dear playing in the fields below.
