WIR WURDEN SEHR FREUNDLICH VON DEN EIGENTÜMERN EMPGANGEN UND DIREKT MIT EIGENEN PRODUKTEN VERWÖHNT. DAS HAUS IST SEHR GUT AUSGESTATTET UND UNWAHRSCHEINLICH SAUBER. DER POOL WAR ETWAS KALT ABER DER GARTEN UND DIE AUSSICHT UM SO SCHÖNER. WERDEN SEHR GERNE WIEDERKOMMEN.

We had a wonderful time at the villa and enjoyed a nice private holiday in july.
We had the most generous hosts.
Whom we came to like very much.
They were so sweet and graceious about our wellbeing and even toke the time of their busy schedule to show us their olive grove and farm.
The highest recommendation from us.
We would like to return again for sure.

The villa was amazing. Every room was clean and smelled good. We enjoyed swimming in the big privat pool and having breakfast with the wonderfull view from the villa to the mountains. The hosts were kind, even made us homemade pastry and brought eggs from their own chickens. Villa is near old town Cortona (about 15min away with a car). We really enjoyed our stay there. Definitely recommend!

Idyllisch gelegene kleine Villa mit einem phantastischen Blick auch auf den See. Das Haus und die Anlage sind sehr gepflegt. Man merkt, dass sich die Eigentümer sehr viel Mühe geben um einen möglichst angenehmen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Der Pool ist perfekt gepflegt und hat eine sehr gute Größe. Giana hat uns zwei leckere Kuchen gebacken und sich liebevoll um uns gekümmert. Wir waren von der Gastfreundschaft begeistert. Alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten - auch Florenz und Siena - sind gut zu erreichen, so dass einem Tagesausflug nichts im Wege steht. Der perfekte Ort um zu entspannen und seinen Urlaub zu genießen.

My family loved this charming house. We found it spotlessly clean, well maintained and very well equipped. The children particularly enjoyed the swing and the table football, and everybody loved the pool. Our welcome was warm and efficient and the home baking delicious. A lovely place for a holiday!

A perfect experience in the mountains. Breathtaking view, perfect accommodation, beautiful Tuscan house, spacious and well equipped, very suitable for families, car parking, lovely balcony, heating system, air conditioning in the rooms, stone fireplace, fully equipped kitchen (a paradise for people who love to cook), lovely pool.
Jacopo & Giada are charming and generous hosts and made our stay unforgettable.

Wir waren im September zwei Wochen zugegen und haben uns sehr gut erholt. Die Villa ist großzügig angelegt, topgepflegt und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Vermieter waren total nett und haben uns mit Gemüse aus dem Agriturismo versorgt sowie zweimal für uns eine äußerst leckere Tarte gebacken. - Der beheizte Privatpool mit 10 auf 5 Meter war jeden Morgen frisch gereinigt, sein nicht einsehbares Umfeld war großzügig und bestens ausgestattet (Pavillon, Liegen etc.). Der Ausblick auf Cortona und den Lago Trasimeno war grandios. Im Haus gibt es eine eigene Waschküche mit Waschmaschine sowie zwei Grill. Die Wäsche wird wöchentlich gewechselt. - Einziger Wermutstropfen ist die fehlende Freisitzüberdachung bei Regen, denn der vorhandene Sonnenschutz ist nicht wasserfest, so dass man bei schlechtem Wetter in das Haus wechseln muss. Zusammenfassend eine Top-Villa für Familien mit PKW, die die hochgelegene Abgelegenheit nicht schreckt (ca. 25 Minuten Serpentinenauffahrt von Cortona, direkte Lage an einer mäßig befahrenen Bergstraße). Gerne wieder.....besten Dank an die Casa Montana!

There are so many wonderful things to say about this villa and it’s grounds. Outstanding views over to Lake Trasimeno, a hidden gem of the area. The villa was immaculately presented with good size bedrooms and a master on suite. There are two terraces to the side and behind the villa. An enchanting vine tunnel to the upper terrace where there is a second eating area and pool. We used both levels for eating but spent most of our time on the upper terrace as a family. On the first terrace children have a slide and swing and grass plus the enchanting vine leaf tunnel which could lead to endless imaginative play. The hosts live diagonally opposite and we had the pleasure of eggs and sun ripened tomatoes and cucumbers given to us. The hosts also offer a range of delicious dishes they can make instead of going out or cooking yourselves which was a novelty and worked well for us. If you are into running the quiet mountain road is a good spot. The villa sits above Cortona, a beautiful hilltop town. It’s very busy at the weekend but the hosts advised us on where to park. The supermarkets are below Cortona in the valley. We ate out a couple of times in Cortona and then would recommend going to Castiglione del Lago on the shores of Lake Trasimeno. This was a big hit with our young adults. You can use the villa as a good base to visit many places in Tuscany and Umbria but we were very happy with simply chilling and eating local food and drinking local wine so didn’t wish to stray very far. As you would expect for a mountain property, you have to drive up and down and while the roads are good, you need to give time as it’s about 20 minutes up or down due to needing to go at mountain speed pace! It didn’t bother us at all.

I recently had the pleasure of spending my holidays at Villa Portole Uno, and I am absolutely impressed by the quality of the experience it offers. This villa in a mountainous location offers breathtaking views and a unique sense of tranquillity.
Every aspect of the villa is well taken care of. The cleanliness is impeccable, the furnishings are perfectly maintained, and nothing is lacking. The kitchen is fully equipped and every space in the house is designed to ensure maximum comfort.
The outdoor pool is a true gem. Located to ensure privacy, it is elegantly designed and equipped with all necessary comforts. The owners demonstrate an incredible sense of hospitality and attention to detail, cleaning the pool every morning at six, ensuring everything is always in perfect condition.
Despite the proximity to the road, the villa is not affected due to the scarce traffic in the area. This contributes to an atmosphere of serenity and peace.
A small note concerns the villa's mid-mountain location. This location means a temperature difference of about 4/5 degrees compared to the plain. This proved to be an advantage during the hotter days, but might be a bit chilly when the weather is not optimal. During our stay, however, we were lucky with the weather and enjoyed an absolutely perfect week.

Wonderful property with amazing views! Very clean and the owners were extremely helpful. They brought us fresh eggs, a delicious berry torte & a bottle of their homemade wine, all of which were delicious! We highly recommend booking this property!

Das Haus liegt an einer Bergpassstraße mit herrlicher Aussicht auf den Trasimeno See. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und die Ausstattung ist sehr gut.
Der Garten inkl. großen Pool ist gepflegt und die Vermieter sind super nett und begrüßten uns mit Wein und Eier. Cortona ist ca. 15 Min. entfernt und hier erhälts du alles was man benötigt.

Schönes Ferienhaus mit herrlichem Blick auf den Lago di Trasimeno. Die Villa ist sehr sehr sauber, gepflegt und außerordentlich gut ausgestattet.
Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und waren jederzeit erreichbar. Zusätzlich haben uns mit selbstgebackenem Kuchen, Eiern, Tomaten & Rotwein überrascht.
Garten & Poolbereich sind liebevoll gepflegt mit vielen verschiedenen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten. Auch hier ist die Sauberkeit erwähnenswert.
Portole selbst ist sehr klein, bietet jedoch einen guten Ausgangspunkt, um die Toskana zu erkunden. Cortona, Lago die Trasimeno, Montepulciano und Perugia sind schnell zu erreichen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Beautiful view Nice pool Clean Good rooms. There must be one more fridge for drinks. What is there is not big enough for food and drink for 6 people.

We really enjoyed our stay at Portole Uno. The pool was great and the house well equipped and comfortable. Parking looks tight on the pictures but we parked two cars there and could of parked a third safely without issue. Also the road really is not busy, very quiet for most of the day. The bar down the road is very friendly and does great pizzas.

The best villa we have stayed in for service and facilities. The owners were very helpful and the location was perfect.

Großartiges Ferienhaus in toller Umgebung. Gerade Cortona (15 Min mit dem Auto) ist wirklich einen Besuch wert. Das Ferienhaus hat unserer Familie (2 Erw, 2 Kinder) super gefallen. Ausstattung war hervorragend und vollständig. Der Pool und der Gartenbereich boten wunderbare Erholung. Das Vermieterduo (Mutter und Tochter) macht einen prima Job - bishin zur "Lieferung" von Eiern und Rotwein!

Sehr schöne und gut ausgerüstete Villa. Nette Besitzerin, die hilfsbereit ist. Prima pool und gartenbereich mit Liegen. Einfach zu weiterempfehlen.

The location is beautiful and very quite at 10min from Cortona. The landlady was very kind. The house is fantastic and we had a very relaxing time.

Ottima soluzione. Posizione meravigliosa, casa spaziosa, pulita e molto godibile, anche grazie alla bella piscina. Proprietà molto gentile, accogliente e disponibile. Molto consigliata, sia per famiglie che per gruppi di amici.

Villa Portole is the perfect retreat. Beautifully restored Tuscan Farmhouse with the most spectacular views. Owners provide a very warm welcome and nothing too much trouble. Beautiful selection of local pastries on kitchen table for our arrival. Owner also brought us fresh eggs and wine. Such lovely kind gestures. The villa has very efficient AC and a separate central heating system for cooler weather. Lots of towels and kitchen linen provided. Utility with washing machine, ironing board and iron. Pool area and grounds maintained to a very high standard. Two separate outside dining areas, one at pool. Plenty of sun beds/loungers and also a garden swing. I would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful Tuscan Villa.”

Very complete and clean inventory of the villa. From the terrace (with adjustable sun and wind-screens), you will have a beautiful view over the valley, perfect plac for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Swimming pool is good place to stay on hot days. The owners (Rosanna and her mother) hospitable. When we arrive there were cool drinks in the refrigerator. Next day we got fresh tomatoes, herbs (for paste) eggs from the garden of the owner (the mother lives 50 meters across the street.

Beautiful, comfortable and well-equipped villa with a fantastic view over the valley.

Visited Portole Uno for one week in June 2018. Very beautiful scenery. The house is also good. Three bed- and bathrooms. Slightly dark from inside but everything works. As the house is 15 min up from Cortona it was around 5 degrees colder than on the bottom of the valley. Smiling Anna (the other lady-only italy speaking) was hearty. The road is just beside the house but it didnot bother us. Not much traffic.

In September 2017 we spent a week at Portole 1, the house was very clean and the pool area very well tended. Cortona is less than 10 km away, it is such a fantastic town to explore. The price in September was a real bargain for our group of 4 people. The road that passes by the house is not very busy at all. Absolutely recommended.

A beautiful villa in a stunning location

Sehr schöne Villa, ganz nah an einem Örtchen, wo man einkaufen und essen gehen kann. Die Villa liegt toll, der Blick ist grossartig und das Schwimmbad absolut unverzichtbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen die Villa gerne weiter...und kommen selber gerne wieder!

I can highly recommend spending your vacation here.
All necessary facilities were in perfect condition, everything is well maintained. The house was very clean and it is spacious enough for a group of 6 adults. Air conditioning was a blessing, Tuscany in August can be very hot. The garden is beautiful and the sunbeds by the pool are so comfortable! Cortona and the fantastic Tuscan coutryside are waiting for you down the road.
The views from the pool are amazing.

Tout est exactement comme décrit dans le site. L'endroit est merveilleux et les propriétaires sont fantastiques. Les enfants ont apprécié la villa, et surtout la piscine. Les adultes ont apprécié, le grill et la belle vue de la table dans la véranda. Le bon endroit pour une grande famille dans un endroit merveilleux. Conseillé ! ! !
