Denna stora villa har en privat pool och ligger på kort avstånd från den vackra historiska staden San Gimignano. Huset är mycket stort och passar för en stor grupp eller en stor familj. Ett stort vardagsrum på andra våningen och en uteplats säkerställer att gästerna har en bekväm vistelse med stora stora områden både inomhus och utomhus.
Huset är möblerat på ett enkelt men bekvämt sätt. Den består av en huvuddel som sover 12 gäster och en lägenhet (på baksidan av huset och inte direkt ansluten) med plats för 6 gäster.
I närheten finns välkända städer som San Gimignano, Certaldo, Volterra, Siena och Florens.
En liten grusväg leder till fastigheten.
Avstånd : Poggibonsi erbjuder ett brett utbud av affärer och en järnvägsstation 5 km, Certaldo - 10 km, San Gimignano - 13 km, Siena - 38 km, Volterra - 40 km, Florens - 50 km, Cecina by den toskanska kusten ca. 80 km, Lucca - 85 km, Pisa - 90 km.
Tillgängligt för gäster : Stort utomhusområde med privat pool endast för gästbruk (10 x 5 m - minsta djup 1,2 m - maximalt djup 1,4 m - öppet från 01/05 till 30/09 ), grill.

San Gimignano and the Elsa valley (Val d'Elsa)
Maybe the expression has been used to many times but it’s still appropriate: There’s no better comparison than calling San Gimignano, the city of hundred towers, the “Medieval Manhattan”.
A kind of fortified village that, to the great joy of the visitors from all over the world, seems to have “turned to ice” in the 14th century to keep alive the miracle of an urban and architectonical structure that has remained unchanged over the centuries. In the last 25 years luck was on the side of this corner of the Sienese land: By now San Gimignano has surpassed in celebrity many bigger and more important places. It’s the home of one of the most famous and antique Tuscan wines, the only white wine which is well known all over the world: the Vernaccia.
Certainly it’s not enough to mention only the inevitable comparison with Manhattan (by now there are only 18 towers left). The little town and its territory have so much more to offer.
The Elsa valley, antique and very civilized land, cradle of the trade routes in this region and cradle of learning and art from the time of the High Middle Ages, rich in famous monuments, beautiful little towns and breathtaking panoramas.
Let’s mention just some of them: Colle di Val d’Elsa, the city of crystal, Casole, Monteriggioni with its intact city walls that have been celebrated even in Dante’s Divine Comedy, Poggibonsi and its fortress of Poggio Imperiale, an uncountable number of Romanesque parish churches (like the one of Cellole or the extraordinary Badia a Isola), oratories, monasteries, castles and villages.
All these sights are not only relics of a glorious past, but they are still a symbol of the territory’s richness which still lasts thanks to the industriousness of its people and a dense network of trades that has its origins in medieval times, when the Via Francigena ran through the Elsa valley, the road which connected the papal town of Rome with Northern Europe between the 9th and the 15th century with a steady stream of warriors, pilgrims, saints and emperors.
Today we can still find some traces of this extraordinary road which explain why in the course of the centuries villages, castles, bridges and pilgrims’ hospitals have been built just where they are and not anywhere else.

Bottenvåning : Stort vardagsrum (150 m2 i storlek) med vardagsrum och matsal (TV) med öppen spis, kök (dubbla kylskåp med två frysar, mikrovågsugn, diskmaskin, ugn) med öppen spis och tillgång till utsidan, toalett.
Första våningen : 2 dubbelrum, 2 tvåbäddsrum, 2 badrum båda med dusch, badrum med dusch och tvättmaskin. Varje rum har tillgång till en delad balkong som går längs huset och har en fantastisk utsikt ut mot Valdesa.
3 steg högre : dubbelrum, tvåbäddsrum, badrum med dusch.
Lägenhet (tillgänglig från utsidan eller från terrassen, men inte från villan)

Höjd bottenvåning : Ingång till pentry (liten elektrisk ugn, frys, TV) tvåbäddsrum, 2 dubbelrum, 2 badrum båda med dusch - varav ett är anpassat för funktionshindrade.
Lägenheten är rullstolsanpassad via en trapphiss.

We have stayed at this villa 4 times over last 15 years, but I was disappointed in this visit in that virtually nothing has been updated or kept up. The Wi-fi is virtually non-existent. the owners came by (daily...too much) and told us the wi-fi was best right by the front door. No wi-fi anywhere else in the house. The kitchen is a mess and needs to be updated desperately. Pots and pans stacked everywhere, microwave doesn't work, coffeemakers that are ancient and poorly working. TV is old and doesn't work well. If you are looking for a terrific view and a good location to get to Chianti, San Gim, Siena, or Firenze, that's great. If you are llooking for something well appointed and comfortable, not the place. uncomforatble beds.

Casa perfetta per grandi gruppi, abbiamo trascorso il capodanno e ci siamo trovati benissimo.
Casa enorme con enorme spazio comune, proprio quello di cui avevamo bisogno, comunicazione con i proprietari perfetta e veloce, posizione della casa ottima, vicino a San Gimignano, Certaldo, servizi e molto altro."

The villa is awesome. San Gimignano with its famous towers is within sight. The villa is perfectly equipped, we were 16 people and there was nothing missing. We bought wine from the owners and were excited.

Mit 3 Familien hatten wir den perfekten Urlaub!
Den einzigen Verbesserungsvorschlag den man geben kann, ist die Einrichtung etwas aufzufrischen: es könnte eine Traumvilla sein.
Die Besitzer sind einfach toll!

Es war genial alles in allem! Das Grundstück ist sehr gross, das Schwimmbad wunderschön und unser Lieblingsplatz. Wir konnten alle zusammen draussen und drinnen essen und hätten noch Gäste einladen können, so gross und gut ausgestattet war alles. Das Öl und der Wein der Besitzer sind sehr zu empfehlen. Die Nähe zu allem, was man gerne sehen möchte (San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, Florenz) ist perfekt. Es ist sehr ruhig, sodass man sich wirklich wunderbar erholen kann.
Wir empfehlen das Haus gerne weiter oder kommen wieder um ein grosses Fest zu feiern.

We were a party of 12 (sie couples) and this Villa was fantastic!! It exceeded our expectations. The photos represent the villa perfectly. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. Appliances worked very well. We loved sitting out by the pool in the evening. The owners were very welcoming and made sure that we had everything that we needed. They were very helpful. It was situated very well for day trips to Pisa, Firenze, Volterra, San Gimi, Siena etc. Save time to enjoy this property though!!
